I’ve spent the last 7+ years building a career in marketing and project management, and I currently work full-time as a Marketing Program Manager, leading global creative campaigns that support strategic growth.
But I didn’t start out in this field. I pivoted into both marketing and PM—first through volunteering, then by taking on stretch projects, and learning how to reframe my experience to highlight transferable skills. Eventually, I backed it up with credentials like the PMP and CSM.
My path has been anything but linear. I applied to 1,500+ jobs, second-guessed every negotiation, and kept wondering when things would finally click.
